In the spring of 2006, Suzanne met young Diesel and saw an urgent need to free this dog from the 10’ leash he had been restricted to. Diesel’s owners also needed a little help and a few “pointers” in caring for their young dog. Together with Mike from Hidden Fence, she was able to give Diesel a full acre to run and burn off that extra energy. Otherwise, Diesel would have been destined to be an aggressive Pit-Bull. Suzanne, Mike, and Chuck have since given 12 other dogs the freedom they deserve; allowing these dogs to stay with their owners.
Hidden Fence, Inc. donates time and equipment to help with Suzanne’s non-profit organization. The Cause-Fur-Paws Foundation is always in need of donations. If you are interested in helping, please contact Suzanne Ashby.
MISSION STATEMENT

Cause Fur Paws is a non-profit humane foundation that exists to promote the welfare of companion and livestock animals and to reduce the number of animals relinquished to shelters. Cause Fur Paws’ intent is to establish a safe environment for animals and help the owners maintain the environment and animals.
Referred by County Humane Investigators, Cause Fur Paws works with animal owners to teach them about animal care. In some circumstances, financial support is provided to resolve inadequacies in the animal’s food, water, shelter, space, exercise, transportation or veterinary care. Operating in the
